Stefan Moore has signed with English League One side Walsall F.C.
The striker had a two-week trial with the Melbourne Victory but obviously failed to impress enough – despite scoring twice in a friendly against the Whittlesea Zebras. The official word at the time of Moore’s return to England was that the club would try out a few more foreign players before making any commitments. But it seemed pretty clear that Moore signing with Melbourne was highly unlikely.

Yeah, I think they need to go for a better striker. Sydney has thrown down the gauntlet and recruited big. We can’t be left behind again.
