We played well, lots of positives...just couldn't finish. Thwaite was excellent, Lopez showed he will start every week, Fabiano looked dangerous, more dangerous than Alsopp anyway. Carlos didn't do much but he looks to be very comfortable on the ball this year and I think he will be our best by far. The most pleasing aspect of the game was there was very little long ball bullshit, shades of season 2 with good width. Sydney crowd was piss poor....16000 people to a melb syd game is embarrasing. I went with Theo in goals, Muscat as captain (always a good pick as he is penalty taker). I also picked Lopez because he is cheap.
