Ney Fabiano has been hit with a 9-match ban after supposedly spitting at Robert Cornthwaite on the weekend.
Guess it’s back to the Archie and Danny show.
The three-striker lineup was nice while it lasted though.

Utterly atrocious decision. Joel Griffiths gets away with a crotch-shot at a linesman and Fabiano gets NINE matches for spitting?
A 3 match ban would’ve served its purpose without being excessive.
What a load of shit! 9 matches for an incident that has an element of doubt on it. Even if we take our Victory caps off for a minute and concede that Fabiano spat on Cornflakes 9 matches is fucking ridiculous! Barry Hall gets 7 matches for knocking his opponent out cold with a left hook, Griffiths gets fuck all for PUNCHING A LINESMAN IN THE BALLS!!!!!! and gets a yellow card. What the fuck man!
I agree Josh. Barry Hall got less for knocking a guy into next week. I am intrigued, if Fab spat on Cornflake, why did he not wipe anything off his face..?? I still don’t think the TV vision is clear cut. If he did it, 3weeks is sufficient. I’d be surprised if there is not an appeal. I don’t think we have heard the end of it. With Lopez, Thwaites coming back into the line-up and possibly Pondeljak, we should be okay.
i would just like to say…what a load of shit…if it were a player from sydney they would of been let off…what a bullshit descision that was..there was no spit….it’s only because that poofter “cornflake” said that he spat..but if you look at the video footage there was nothing in it…what a load of shit…in euro 2002..totti actually spits at a player and he gets suspended for three matches..fabiano does nothing wrong and he gets nine…what the fuck? even the Dodd said there was nothing in it…for fuck sake…what a bullshit decision….lets hope victory appeal the desicion made…also we should all protest at the next game…what a bullshit desicion…
